Garan moves to Doha Marriott International has appointed Hossein Garan general manager of the Doha Marriott Gulf hotel. Garan has a career spanning 30 years in the hotel industry ? 25 of them with Marriott ? including strong roots in F&B and experience in complex hotel operations. He has worked with major chains in the US including Grand Hyatt and Waldorf Astoria New York City. Most recently Garan was the opening general manager of Marriott Executive Apartments in Bahrain.
