The stalled hotel projects at Dubai Festival City could be slipping back into gear with Al-Futtaim Group stating its intention for partners.

A report in daily newspaper The National, said that the group was looking to kick start the former Four Seasons and W Hotel projects that had previously been slated for 2006 and 2008 openings respectively.

Managing director of Al-Futtaim Capital Marwan Shehadeh told the paper the company was now exploring JVs to “get the projects off the ground”.

“We are in discussion with a couple of potential partners,” Shehadeh added.
