Our client, a multinational company based in Abu Dhabi is looking to recruit an experienced Arabic speaking Internal Auditor with experience in fraud/ embezzlement detection and prevention in the area of cash and stock.

Reporting to the Director of Finance and Admin, the main purpose of this role is to ensure the presence of adequate internal controls and compliance with the internal policies and procedures throughout the operating units. The key responsibility includes fraud/embezzlement detection, prevention, periodical audits, investigations and recommendations for appropriate countermeasures to the Director. Other areas of responsibility include, reviewing the internal controls/check points and make recommendations for necessary improvements, review the reliability and integrity of operations financial information and the means used to identify measure, classify and report such information, focus on expenditures, cash, inventory, expense, payroll, assets and other functions as targets for fraud/embezzlement and make surprise visits at different locations and conduct spot checks on cash balances, stocks, inventory, assets, documentation, etc.

To qualify, you will be a Chartered Accountant Intermediate with direct/indirect experience up to 3 years in the hospitality industry or hold a Bachelor’s degree in accounting with minimum 6 years audit experience in a hospitality industry. You will have the ability to think “outside the box” and apply creative and constructive thinking to proposed recommendations for improvements to internal processes controls, procedures, and policies. You must demonstrate attention to detail and ability to detect incidents of frauds/embezzlement quickly. You will have the ability to maintain high degree of confidentiality and have a strong knowledge of audit procedures.

Salary: AED Up to 14k pm + benefits
