Trainer’s Bio:
Prior to her relocation to Dubai, Claire was lecturing in the School of Hospitality in a polytechnic in Singapore. In addition, she has also more than 6 years of experience working in the areas of account and project management in the New South Wales Police Force in Sydney, Australia.

During these roles, Claire was overseeing the implementation and delivery of multiple IT projects valued up to AUD$20 million and was instrumental in overseeing the resource, financial, risk, quality and change management within an organization consisting of more than 15,000 employees.

Claire was also previously a corporate trainer for Singapore Airlines, providing continual training delivery to meet the needs of the airline’s cabin crew members in the areas of service delivery, service excellence and development of interpersonal skills.

Claire’s extensive working experience in both the public and private sector spanning across Australia, Asia, and the Middle East will be beneficial to participants who want to enrich themselves in the service industry within a cross cultural environment.

Claire holds a Bachelor degree in Engineering (Honours) from the National University of Singapore with a minor in Law. She is also a certified PRINCE2 (PRojects IN Controlled Environments) project methodology registered practitioner and Project Management Professional (PMP) accredited by Project Management Institute (PMI), US.

Course Overview:
Project Management is an integral component of any organization today. The success of a project hinges on the capacity of the project manager to successfully deliver the project on schedule and within budget, according to the requirements of the project sponsor and customer.

This programme will equip participants with a clear understanding of the role played by a project manager and introduce the various components of managing a project in the business environment. At the end of this programme, participants will be able to successfully map out and execute the essential components and knowledge areas of managing a project.

All bookings must be confirmed in writing to The Emirates Academy of Hospitality. Course fees are payable upon confirmation of booking and an invoice will be sent to you. Bookings cannot be confirmed until payment and a completed application form is received. Fees paid are non-refundable.

Course Materials
The course fee includes everything required for the class work including instruction materials, notebooks, articles, note-paper, pencils and refreshments. Accommodation and transportation are not included in the course fees.
